Through many direct elections, the second alternation of political parties, the event of occupation Legislative Yuan, and the ten referendum questions, Taiwan is crawling ahead in pursuing democracy and achieving the miracle of Asia democratic transformation. However, to consolidate democratic achievement of present stage and overcome political opposition and mistrust, we need stronger democracy infrastructure in order to strengthen general public about concerning public affairs and purposing public value.
In this critical moment, CDIG looks forward to becoming a catalyst to optimize Taiwan democratic and put democracy value into the discussion and participation of public affairs. From pragmatic viewpoints of public policy, CDIG would like to joint advance democratic deepening with civil groups, NGOs, and governments.

In the core spirit of participatory democracy, Center for Democratic and Innovation Governance (CDIG) believes public participation must strengthen the principle of policy specialty, critical thinking, and communication consensus. From mechanism design, human empowerment, and practical operation those three aspects, we devoted to develop Taiwan’s democratic ecosystem.

We hold policies' evidence-based and the principle of professional deliberation to advance two-way dialogues between our society and government. To base on objective information, we hope all behaviors can open a stable and transparent policy communication.

To start with the view of democratic theories, based on professional deliberation training and abundant practical experiences, we spread democratic value and cases to each fields, such as administration system, education system, and civic society to comprehensive advance the development of democratic talents.
